NIA Therapy Nook is dedicated and intentional about providing inclusive and safe therapeutic services that promotes collaboration with individuals, couples, and families to create therapeutic alliances, provides intentional clinical services and techniques that foster healing and growth.

NIA Therapy Nook, LLC is currently operating solely through secure Telehealth services. Offering clients flexible and convenient therapeutic services from the comfort of their homes. The owner and solo practitioner is Nakia S. Black, PhD, LCSW.

Rates and Insurances

Fees:

• Individual, family and couples: $200 for intake session and $175 per weekly session.
• Additional service fees for phone consultations outside of session, crisis intervention sessions, completion of form/letter requests, etc.

Accepted Insurances Plans:

• Aetna
• Anthem
• Cigna
• Husky
• United Healthcare/Optum

Payments:

• Payment for service must be paid at the start of session
• Acceptable payments include electronic checks, major credit cards, and HSA/FSA payments
• For Out of Network, the full payment is due and a receipt will be provided to the client in order to initiate out of network reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy:

• If you need to change or cancel your appointment, you are required to provide 24 business hours advance notice of cancellation.
• If you miss a session without canceling or you cancel without the 24-hour notification period, you will be responsible for paying the cancellation fee of $85
